Current Research

KPARE is actively conducting renewable energy research in the Kenai Peninsula and all over Alaska. With many area's in Alaska undiscovered for renewable energies and lots of opportunity, KPARE continues its mission with a highly qualified staff to uncover our natural resources.

With data collected in these locations, KPARE is able to receive accurate and documented analysis on wind and solar resources in many of these sites. With these capabilities, KPARE is currently raising funds to help support projects that will perform and help our Alaskan People as a benefit of clean energy with the support from our community.

Highlighted Project

KPARE currently supports projects that are viable and attainable. One project that KPARE is excited to support is "Wind Power with a Twist". This project was developed by 3 students from the Caring from the Kenai Project These students spent many hours researching interconnection, tower structure, turbine placement and more in hopes to make our Kenai Peninsula a more reliable and stable environment.
